Not much been going on for the past month or so, but a bunch of stuff just hit. In case you missed it,

• Airgun videos (both parts are up now, part 2 has some cool shots)
• Ethernet PCB is done after too long
• Light Controller makes good use of the ethernet controller to control christmas tree lights (see video)

This year my christmas "theme" was tools. I got a 4-piece 18v cordless RYOBI tool set, a heat gun, a nd a cordless Dremel tool (the corded one I've been using likes to smoke on high speeds.) I cleaned off my workbench to make room for the new stuff, and also so I could wire up its back electrical panel so I could get rid of my mess of power strips.

I think now it's time to finish up the HVPS 2 (now that I have some money to buy more transistors).

We did pretty good. We (449) competed in two regionals: New Jersey and Chesapeake. At New Jersey, we went to the quarterfinals. At Chesapeake, we went to the semifinals. I was happy with how the robot performed (much better than last year.)

Now that the robotics season is over, I can get back to doing some projects. I went on vacation for spring break and didn't do anything there. Right now I'm trying to finish up some programming projects that I have started. I am working on plans for a slingshot / crossbow type gun, improvements to the light controller, and possibly another airgun in the future.
