Jacob's Ladder
About

A Jacob's Ladder consists of two electrodes, where a high voltage arc exists between them. The arc rises up the angled electrodes on it's own hot air, getting farther and farther apart until it gets too far to keep the air ionized. The arc gives up and restarts at the bottom where the electrodes are closest.

Status:
  1. Remove circuit board from CRT monitor
  2. Remove flyback transformer
  3. Map out coils on transformer
  4. Assemble transformer circuit
  5. Test transformer, adjust for 20,000 18,000 volts
  6. Construct electrodes and case
  7. Hook up electrodes
  8. Final tweaking
  9. Build HV PS circuit and mount in case
